Bicycle racks

At the bicycle racks at the stations, you can park your bicycle for free. Some of the bicycle racks have roofs. Read more about the facilities available at your station on the station pages.

Bicycle hotel

More and more stations are getting bicycle hotels, where you can park your bicycle locked and under a roof.

You get access to the bicycle hotels by entering into a parking agreement with us. The agreement is made per station and costs 50 kroner for 30 days. The agreement is automatically renewed. You will receive a notification via SMS before the period is renewed.

1. Download the Bane NOR Parkering app in the App Store (iPhone)(opens in a new tab)  or on Google Play (Android)(opens in a new tab).
2. Enter into an agreement and register a payment method. Access is linked to your mobile phone and is only valid for one bicycle hotel. You can purchase agreements for multiple bicycle hotels in the app.
3. After you have entered into an agreement, swipe the padlock to the right in the app to open the gate to the bicycle hotel. It may take up to 30 seconds for the gate to open.

Removal of bicycles

 Incorrectly parked bicycles

If a bicycle is parked in a way that obstructs, for example, disabled persons, maintenance personnel, deliveries, or access to escape routes, we will remove it as soon as we discover it. If possible, we will place the bicycle in the nearest bicycle rack. Contact us if you cannot find your bicycle.

Abandoned bicycles

The bicycle parking is not intended for long-term storage of bicycles. We regularly remove bicycles that appear to be abandoned.

• Before we remove the bicycle, we will mark it with a tag. If you are using the bicycle, you can remove the tag. This lets us know that the bicycle is in use and should not be removed.
• If the tag is not removed after two weeks, we will remove the bicycle and place it in storage.
• We store removed bicycles for a minimum of three months. During this period, you can retrieve your bicycle by contacting us.
