About the station
Sørumsand station opened in 1892 as a stop.
The narrow-gauge (750 mm gauge) Aurskog-Hølandsbanen line also left from Sørumsand. It went via Bjørkelangen to Skulerud.
Today, the station is served by all trains on Kongsvingerbanen line. The narrow-gauge museum railway from Sørumsand to Fossum is protected, but it runs on Sundays in the summer - and in December.
