About the station
Slependen stop was the first to open on the narrow-gauge Drammenbanen in 1873.
In 1959 we built a new stop at Slependen. In 1993, a new stop was again built, which at the same time was moved approx. 400 meters closer to Sandvika.
In that connection, Jong stop nearby was closed down.
