About the station
The current Langlete stop was opened in October 2009 and is located close to rv 30.
A station was opened on the spot when Rørosbanen line was completed in 1877. Then Rørosbanen line was narrow gauge and an assistance locomotive was stationed at Langlete who helped the trains up the climbs to Tyvold (Rugldalen).
