About the station
Katterat station opened in 1902 when Ofotbanen line was completed.
Until 1951, the station was called Hundalen.
There is no road to the station.
It is forbidden to bring skis and sleds to the station. If this is discovered, it will be set on the outside of the station.
Water sensors are triggered by amounts of water on floor, and the water to the station will be shut off automatically.
